  • Animals, which included:
    • Chimpanzees
    • Hogs
  • Human Volunteers
    • Male and female volunteers experienced tests up to 7 MPH in the rear and oblique impact areas during a crash test
  • Human Cadavers
    • Also referred to as dead human bodies 2
  • The dummies were modeled after mannequins
    • They were already based on and shaped like humans, therefore they were a solid foundation to model the crash dummies after
