I am thrilled that we our doing the microwave for our documentary topic because it, like a lot of inventions we have discussed in class, is such a common piece of technology today that I forget about the point in time where it changed everything. As a student-athlete, I am always on the go. Most of my meals are quick and need to be made ready in the midst of the chaos that is my schedule. As a result, I use the microwave constantly and in this project I think I will develop a greater appreciation for its creation. I am also curious to learn about its antecedents and the different styles and trials of the microwave that took place before the form of the microwave we use today. I am excited to see our documentary play out, because I think we could do a lot of comical things with it.<\/p>\n
