Welcome to our website describing the MRI! This was created by Erika Mabry, Liz Davis, and Cameron Wills.
For our project, we wanted to talk about the MRI as it is a life changing invention in the medical field. The first full body MRI scanner was invented in 1977 by Dr. Raymond Damadian, entering a human body without a single scratch. Since then, the MRI has only advanced in its technology while saving millions of lives to this day.
We wanted to discuss the MRI and its impact due to the importance of this invention. It has changed the medical field in ways that not only detects diseases at early stages, but also saves lives. Without this, cancerous cells, deadly diseases, or even heart or joint issues would not be detectable.
