Welcome to https://historyoftech.mcclurken.org/sk8board, or Skateboard, a research site created by three students in McClurken’s 2019 American Technology and Culture class at the University of Mary Washington. Our project was to research and create a documentary in addition to a research website about a historical artifact of our choice. We chose to talk about the skateboard and the rest is history.
